wow buying a house sure slows truck work down

Posted 08-10-2011 at 07:39 PM by chosenchange
So the purchase of my house has really put a belt around my whole budget for a build. I am kicking myself for buying a house without a garage but price and back yard are right. I am starting the rebuild on my engine in my living room cause I figure i need to get that done before a girl wants to live in my house with me cause I know that would never fly. I bought a dvd on how to take apart a 22r from start to finish and I think I should be able to follow directions. The engine itself is a japan...

I repacked the bearings and replaced the rotors and brakes. For some strange reason when I tighten the lower caliper bolt it clamps the brakes closed I am not sure what that is about so for now I just put a two washers on it and that solved the problem. I am going to step up to a v6 set up soon anyway as I want to...

carb swap n truck build

Posted 12-27-2010 at 07:16 PM by chosenchange
I have not had enough money to purchase a weber carb so I found a carb online that was rebuilt a year ago. This is always a yeah right anything being sold runs the best. It was going to be better then what I had and only set me back 100 bucks. It came out of a 85 22r which was fairly close to mine but was missing one vacuum line near the top. Other then the rain and darkness coming in to quick install was a success and it is running much better!! Tonight I also rewired the license plate light....
