holy exhaust nightmare!!!!

So my truck seems to let exhaust out everywhere it can. So I decide oh well that will be an easy fix a few gaskets a little new pipe n muffler and I am there! Well turns out the four bolts on top of the exhaust manifold where standard stripped out and pieced together with all sizes of bolts! I had to drill and tap all 6 holes that bolt to the head and the four the air rail bolts into. I then find out that there is was no gasket between the down pipe and the manifold. There of course was no gasket on the first flanged connection. Wow no wonder I couldnt roll down the window EVER without getting somewhat high. Now after hours of work I finally get that done when the light shines just right and I see the infamous glint of coolant. I had seen it leak a little but could not figure out where it was coming from. Turns out the timing chain cover is leaking!!!!!! So the next move is to tear that down and replace the chain guides and gaskets. The water pump is new and I have new hoses so they all will go on at the same time. I am a bit nervous of tearing this down cause what ever monkey tried to wrench on this truck was a complete idiot!!!!! Well I would like to go with high steer and start on the rear 63s but gotta do un done routine maintenance before the upgrades. Oh yeah I also rebuilt the rear window motor which was quiet a chore. I bought a window motor out of a 99 camry and turns out its much different then our motors well kind of. Turns out they have a square drive attachment rather then the gear like ours plus the way it is set up you would never be able to bolt it in and make it work. SOOOO I took the brushes off as they were pretty worn and replaced them with the ones from the new motor which fit perfect and looked almost new. I then ran form a gasket up in the housing to reduce the open space between the magnets and the motor. I had to grind the tip down a little on the new motor so it would slide down into the same hole and replaced the plastic cog with the new one. Turns out all this work was well worth it as it runs like new!!! Sweeeeeeeet it cost me only 5 bucks!!! well thats all I got for now but there surly will be more!!!
