knuckle rebuild

Well got the knuckle rebuild done. It took me about 12 hours in total to get it all done as the knuckles were real grimy and I dont have a parts washer so it was alot of scrub time. I repacked the bearings and replaced the rotors and brakes. For some strange reason when I tighten the lower caliper bolt it clamps the brakes closed I am not sure what that is about so for now I just put a two washers on it and that solved the problem. I am going to step up to a v6 set up soon anyway as I want to run 35s and I want to be able stop better then I do now with them. Just another thing knocked off the list. I dont think it was to hard really pretty straight forward and I would have to thank toyospearo for his write up and pictures as that prepped me very well for what I saw. I am not confident with having to swap and axle as well. I also truley saw first hand why the straight axle is much better then IFS as the parts are much more stout. Springs shocks and the v6 brake conversion is next!! Cant wait.
