I own a 99' Toyota 4Runner with a 183hp V6 that displaces a max torgue of 217lb-ft. I have recently installed a class III hitch and a trailer lighting kit. Other than emergency towing and some practice with an empty trailer, I have not yet towed any really weight.

To Get a Lift or Not? That is the question.

Posted 11-01-2009 at 11:57 AM by CBSmitty
I have been thinking about lifting my 4Runner for a while and I have picked out the one that I want, but I am not sure if I should get it.

I really want to go to a park called Rausch Creek in Pennsylvania. I spoke with one person who said that I must lift my truck to go there. However, the website says that there are trails that can be done with a factory vehicle with even AWD. So, already I'm better than that with low-gear ranging 4WD. Has anyone been to this park and care to comment?...
