squeak and clunk when turning

Posted 02-22-2010 at 12:51 PM by 1995yota
I drive a 1995 toyota pickup 4x4 and whenever I turn completely to the right kinda hard it squeaks just a little. and when I hit bumps kind of hard there is a thud and or clunk when I do, I think it maybe a shock absorber, but I there isn't a lot of bounce when i push on the front end. Tie rod ends look good, and my CV boots aren't broken and aren't leaking grease. I'm kind of at a loss here. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

So i'm kinda new to this forum, I just bought my 1995 reg. cab pickup in december and i'm trying to get everything taken care of on it, I did the regular tune up, valve adjustment. It has a fair amount of rust on it and i'm wanting to remedy that situation part by part, My steering gear box is pretty corroded along with the fluid lines going to and from it, i'm going to replace those lines and was wondering how hard it would be to take the gear box off itself and clean it up real good and possibly...
