problem is that audio CDs follow a strict set of rules (RED BOOK specs).

data CDs follow a yellow book... get this. the specs were in a book that was colored... RED or YELLOW... there were a few more but that's like the weird ones like CD-i, VCD etc...

anyways, in a DVD, there wasnt any specs that follow the YELLOW specs.

there were only 3 types that you can place music on a DVD:

* a data DVD
* a movie DVD with special section for audio
* DVD audio - now this was the really odd ball one since it came after the specs for the DVD was out. and of course a normal DVD player cant read it. you need a DVD audio player... of course, i havent seen any consumer level authoring software... but thats neither here or there...

so you are left out with making a data DVD which you hope your car DVd player can read...

or, make a DVD movie disc with nothing but a special menu with the audio tracks as chapters...

confused yet??????? lol....
