Stauy away from Echo - I had a landscape business for 8 years and have fallen a couple hundred trees personally. I have used a number of differing saws and the best by far is STIHL. I usually used a 14" because it is small enough for limbing and big enough to get through most trees around here, I could one hand it when needed. I wouls also use an 18" for the larger jobs but the 14" was and still is my favorite. I have the old 017. It has seen at least a hundred trees (60-80') spruce and is still going strong. I use it all the time at the cabin still
