get your vin from the ownership or front dash if you can make it out and go to 4crwalers site. he has a section to help decode your vin to see exactly what trans you have. my 93 uses atf in the t/case, but most others use gear oil. find out for sure what is supposed to be in there, then get the trans shop to rectify the situation.
