They said my truck was definitely part of the recall. It will be interesting taking in a 12-year-old truck for a recall. My body lift, suspension lift, and ball joint spacers are sure to raise a concern with some mechanics looking to beat the book rate. Lucky I know one Toyota tech here with a Toyota trail rig.

Has anyone actually seen or heard of one of these rods breaking? Guys bend idler arms and break tie rods all the time wheeling these trucks and they recall a part I've never heard of breaking.

Sounds like a very scary failure (loosing steering at God only knows what speed), I'm not really wanting to go though that expenience.
