So many pros at work that hopefully make this a short conflict. Already, they've advanced more quickly than any force in history.
There's speculation that hard fighting will erupt in the streets of Baghdad, but maybe it'll fall from within. They should do a Panama and play loud music to annoy Saddam into surrendering like Noriega!
I also sense a change in the onsite reporters attitudes. Instead of their usual, cynical anti-military spin, they seem to have found respect and camaraderie in combat. Well, except for that old fart Ted Koppel who needs air evac soon for a nap. So far, a brilliant campaign. Thanks to the internet and cable tv, we're a bunch better, and more objectively, informed than ever before.
