I guess I was using the wrong term when I said V6 adapter, so what's leaking is called a MC09?
I called Marlin yesterday and talked to Dean and he estimated it would be 6 months before there was a new design ready. So it looks like I'm on hold for any swap until then. I sure would hate to invest thousands rounding up a donor truck only to find Marlin has decided they can’t find a solution to the problem or it’s not going to be profitable.
I also talked to the guy I know that did a 3.4L auto swap and he's draining off his t-case once a month and filling his tranny about once a week with daily checks of the level. He said it leaks like a sieve. He said he has been pressing Marlin hard for a solution for a year now.
