Welcome to Toyota land Brent. Cleaning the TB would be a good idea no matter what. As for the MAFS, well, you don't have one. You have a VFM (or flapper). You can actually clean those too. In all honesty, it could be a number of things. It could be a improperly gapped plug, a bad plug wire, etc. I would start going down the list and testing some of those items (cheapest first of course) and see if you can eliminate the problem.
