First post here...

Wow this is an old thread. A friend of mine gave me the Wrangler MT/R 32x11.50's off of his Wrangler for my Cherokee a while back. The first thing I noticed was the on-road hum. It was not obnoxious, but definitely noticable. I liked it. They didn't seem too impressive in the mud. The Interco Trxus MT's I had on before did a much better job. The MT/R's however did great on the rocks, better than I thought they would. Snow traction was impressive as well. The only thing that surprised me after the switch from the Trxus to the MT/R's was the first time I used them on wet roads. The MT/R's have horrible wet road traction. I took a very casual 90 degree turn on a 35 miles per hour street, and the back end broke loose on me. I'm sure this would be more prone on a 3,000lb Cherokee than a 4Runner, but still.

Overall I think they are a great tire. As long as you are careful on wet roads, and can deal with mediocre mud performance, they excel at virtually everything else.
