I have now unplugged the O2 sensors and it's running better. The ceramic coat held up for about two years. My perspective at this point is that when I finish with my 83 build I will go back to stock exhaust on my 91. Perhaps LC's exhaust is a good set up if you are doing drastic changes and understand how to change the trucks brain settings but if you are an average Joe looking to bolt up and go I think you may have the issues I ran into.
I hanve had my LC header for about 10 years now. Have replaced one O2 sensor that wore out (was used before the header was installed) and still using the original gasket. I did go to stainless steel hardware to hold the sensor in place. Throttle position sensor should not be affected by the header, I am still on what I think is the original TPS on my '85, at least it is the one that was on there when I bought it in '96. Ceramic coat is still intact, only the block off plates that I painted with hi-temp paint have a touch of corrosion, I have since repainted them:

The only issues I have had have been the flange gasket with I replaced with a home made copper gasket that has held up for about 10 years now. And also I found the weld beads inside the EGR ports were impeding exhaust gas flow and hurting my smog (NOx) readings. So I had to use a Dremel to grind those beads down to flow better.
