ok so I need a little info on how to decode a file I am using a friends comp and they some how locked a file and now don't know how to decode it and don't remember how it happened is what i am told.
I have been messing around for a hour and have no luck. I have opened it in word like it said to but it is still coded and it gives me a list to choose from but none of the links work.
I don't mess with word or excel so I am clueless as what to do to unlock this spread sheet for their finances and they are getting frustrated.
I tried to open the file in adobe and it gave me a message that it may have been damaged in a email transfer and that is the last thing they tried to do.
before they could not access it after the email.
