The trucks and 4runners came with different rear differentials depending on if you got the v-6 or the 4 banger. Matt16 has a 4 banger diff, while SR5 has the v-6 diff. the v-6 diff comes apart right down the middle to install the locker and then bolts back together. the actual carrier is stronger too.
