Hey guys. Tony here. Just a few days old with this site and enjoying all the info floating around.
My background is former mechanic specializing in steering, suspension and brakes.
I don't claim to be an engine guy but I will work on my own stuff and appreciate all the input so far on my 1 thread about fuel pump power.

I have had 3 4Runners. one '84 and 2 '85s
The '84 was totaled (totally)
The first '85 was stolen and went to Mexico (that one was my favorite)
Now I'm working on my third one. (I actually totalled this one too but bought it back from my insurance co and made some $$ off it) Its solid except for the fuel problem.

I've had some problems in the past and can't get a drivers license for a while. (DUI)
I know, dumb ass but i"m moving forward from here. I miss driving my truck and going out to the desert. It was a very expensive lesson learned.

Drink OR drive. Never both. You don't have to learn the hard way as I did.
