Well it really comes down the the $$$.
If you have ~$500 - $1000 to spend then gearing is the way to go. If you have $~2000 to spend then get the supercharger.
I spent right at $2000 for my complete SC setup by searching for good deals but i also have some things you won't need.
Both of them will net you about the same real world effect with your truck, the SC will give you more power but with your large tires it will not feel like as much.
If you will be doing both for 100% sure then it doesn't really matter. Which ever one you find the best deal on first. If you can only get 1 though i would personally get the SC. There is just something about the SC whine that gears just can't do.
