I took them both off a couple of years ago on my second gen. Greatly improves flex in the rear and helps a little up front. Yes it leans but its higher now and I don't need to drive fast to go places. I take it easy and have no problems. If you are an aggressive driver who does the majority of driving on road then leave them on. If you are patient and can learn to adapt to the sensation of having them off then take them off.
