the look factor is cool, but i'd be willing to say 50% of a BFG A/T's treadlife might equal the entire tread life of the dreaded Thornbirds, b/c aren't they a bias-ply tire?...only thing i thought i heard good off-road wise was someone saying something about decent performance in sand, but i could be wrong
