Got it up to 106 in 5th
just wondering if I should have concerns about revving this high for so long. valves seem to get floaty above 5300.
I normally shift around 2400-3000.
When pulling grades, I maintain 3000-4500 in 3rd, such as when driving up Highway 7 to get to Bunce.

I wouldn't recommend it. The valve train is weak in these motors. I know first hand with my 2wd pre-runner. I used beat the living piss out of it. I have personally took it to 7500 many times. Why? Because I did not care and I was bored. Well the head gasket went and I pulled the head and sent it out to the machine shop. The valve seats were hammered so they had to install new valve seat and redo the valves.
