I had a similar situation but it was my seat that was getting soaking wet. I don't have a sun roof either. As it turns out, the roof rack mounts (i don't have a roof rack either, just the plastic "trim" peice) were leaking. Took them off, clean and resealed with silicon.. no more leaking.
