there is a 1992 toyota pickup 4x4 for sale, its got a lift already on it, bigger tires rims. the problem is it needs a new engine. they are selling it for 2k.

if i buy it im gonna put in a used 3.4L engine from engine world, they are selling it for about 1100 with a 6 month warranty, under 50k miles and $1000core.

im starting to fall in love with the older toyotas and i think this would be a fun project but i dont know if its a good deal for 2k.
