Hi I am not new to the site But I am just palning this for after surgery. I have a 1985 4Runner that is in the build thread
http://www.yotatech.com/f115/ride-quality-133028/ . I am wanting to do a tail pipe turbo install. My 4Runner is a 2.4l efi . I have a old turbo from a 1989 Lebaron. I have the whole car and going to pull all the parts I can to do this. My question is:
Is there a chip upgrade for the OBD1?
Will I need a iner cooler with the turbo in the rear of the car?
I am a little new to turbos so any other info will help.
