yep, i've had to take tint off of many a car, it's a pain. be especially careful of the back windows with rear defrost if you're using a razor blade! i use the razor blade to get it started and then pull as much off as possible by hand. then the worst part is getting all the glue off the best way i've found to do that is saturate the glue with a solvent (i've used Acrysol and if you're VERY careful you can use Thinner too) and then scrape it off with the blade. make sure you either wear a ventilator mask or have lots of air flow otherwise it's brain cell death, or straight up death. on the rear defrost sections, i've done the same saturation of solvent but instead of a razor blade, i've used #0000 steel wool, it takes the adhesive off but doesn't harm the defrost strips.

just a couple other tips i've learned over the years.
