I had 4.88s and 33x12.50s on my 22re 89 5spd 4runner with the rear lincoln locked. I could break both meats loose in first if I dumped the clutch, and it was pretty snappy in all other gears. Would have to downshift from 5th only on a good sized hill, or if I had a really good head wind.

My 22r 84 5spd PU with 31x10.50s and 4.10s with open diffs is... Not so great. I can burn one tire real well in 1st, but it aint no where near as snappy as my 89 4R was. Constantly down shifting from 5th on the mildest of hills.

I'm just wondering how my 84 PU will do with its shiny new lincoln locked 5.29s and 35x12.50s Almost done...
