If you're going to go through the problem of taking off the manifold from your truck, and cleaning the manifold from a different car, which you're not exactly sure everything is going to work what with the obvious different vacuum passages and the like considering the differences between a passenger car and commercial vehicle of different years at that...
Why not just clean the manifold from your truck... which you already know works on your engine? If you can spend a day swapping manifolds, why not a day removing, cleaning and reinstalling?
Oh, you're just looking for minimal downtime.
