Rattle sound coming from front suspension when hubs unlocked
Hello everyone, iv been having some issues with my front susopension lately. Im getting a wierd rattle / chinging sound coming from the front suspension both Left and right sides. It's a wierd rattle, kind of sounds like a glass cup full of screws flopping around. I hear it over every single little bump.
When I locked the hubs, but still in 2wd, the noise went away completely. Once they are unlocked they start to make the noise again. I know for a fact that both CV boots are torn and the inside of the tires are warn down. There is also vibrations accompanied by the rattling from 10-25mph My truck drives straight BTW. I can also hear the sound by kicking the tire when the truck is stopped.
I also tried to find play in the wheel but nothing its very firm so i doubt its a wheel bearing.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks
