Why do we "have" to have that? It's not a big deal, I have the hitch, and the bumper and the sliders are fairly cheap. But what's with the lift that need the hitch and the sliders? Or am I just misreading it?

I think they could be talking about the weight, stiff springs without any weight on them are going to ride rough ...... they are designed to carry a certain loading
