I just realized I
think I made a big mistake when I bought my antenna and mount.
I bought awhile back and installed what I thought was a no ground plane side molded mount (similar to this but it doesnt say anything about no ground plane

Instead, I somehow bought (now that I been looking into getting another CB setup and realized this) the set up with a ground and the firestick II antenna separately. Now, it showed clearly in the little paper they send with it to ground it to the mount, I did this and have yet to tune but I can pick up most things decently and talk to my buddies no problem...
Just worried something aint right. I followed the instructions just like it says and grounded it to the second bolt.
This seem right?
