Wow. All I was noticing was that the picture said "4 cylinder". I've never looked at the 4 cyl. offered in 4Runners, so I just wanted to make sure that you had the right product in the first place. You noticed that, changed it in your post, and I got crap for it, so of course I'm gonna cover my back. But since everyone else who replied to your post had soo much helpful information, maybe I'll try and help you out a little...

I've done the deckplate and ISR mod. I'm not going to go into all the hoopla about which is better, because that's not what you asked. But, if you read up about the ISR mod, it'll show you that you have two vacuum hoses that are connected to the intake silencers (which you'll lose with the new intake) that you'll need to supply air to somehow. Look into the tech write-up section.

Hopefully someone who has actually done installed one of these will chime in.
