Maybe if you haven't had the misfortune of blowing a tire, then popping your spare on the same trip, as I have. If so, or if you want to keep Murphy from using the "lack-there-of" to your disadvantage, then you'll need something to pump up a patched/plugged tire to get going anywhere. Even if it's the "one-time use" $15 cheapo plug-in-the-lighter-socket "air compressor"/tire pump, BRING IT! AND THE TIRE PATCHES & PLUGS!

Me too. I don't leave home without EVERYTHING I or someone else could possibly need. I actually have 2-3 of many things. Backups for backups, you know what I mean?
Everybody just assumes, as they should, that I've "got one of those in my truck". WHATEVER that happens to be at that given moment.
There's even the odd thing or two I haven't needed yet, BUT I/SOMEBODY WILL EVENTUALLY. I have a sixth sense about these things.
