I do understand that bigger filters will filter better, but I'm thinking that there is a point where it won't matter how much bigger you go. At what point does the filtering efficiency plateau? I think the R&D department at Toyota would've looked into this when designing their oil filters (I hope, at least).
Anyway, I'm very interested to find out what your test results are.
