More than likely the tires are out of balance.
Honda transmissions do shift a little different than others.
I have seen one odyssey between 01 and 03 go through two transmissions that were both put in by the dealer, but havent noticed a huge amount of problems with them. The worst thing you can do with them is rock them if you get stuck.
