A couple weeks ago i went everywhere trying to find a rear window wiper blade but had no luck. After a YT search, i found a few recommendations to get an OEM replacement blade at the stealership. Next day i bought one and put it on in the parking lot.
It's the biggest piece of crap plastic blade ever. It was worse than my old worn out blade. It barely touched the window in 3 or 4 spots. I tried fliping it and tweaking the wiper housing but that didn't help. Total waste of money.
So then i bought a cheap "refill" at Walmart just find out that it's too wide and wont fit.
Today, i noticed that both front wiper housings were the same width as the rear. I always use
Michelin windshield wipers which are great. So i bought one (about $7) and took it apart. The wiper itself has 2 metal inserts on each side. I cut the wiper with scissors and snipped the metal inserts with wire cutters. It fits perfect and works like a charm.
