My truck is soon going to be sitting out in the (cold) weather for perhaps as much as 1 1/2 months at a time without a battery maintainer. I needed to find something reliable, deep cycle capable, and it should be able to hold a charge through hell and back. Alaskan winters tend to get very cold and I love camping out.
I've been eyeing the
Odyssey PC 1700T (SAE terminals, no metal jacket)
The only other thread I found concerning it's size was this
here and there's no conclusive statement as to whether or not it'll fit. It's kinda huge, weighs 60LBS and is as follows:
Length 13.0
Width 6.5"
Height 7.5 w/terminals
I took a tape measure and I think with some persuasion, it should drop in, but I'm new to the truck business and I don't know for sure and am worried about the length. Do you folks think it'll wedge in ok?
