Ring and Pinion...Is more better?
So the plan is to swap in 4.88 gears both front and rear. My 90 came stock with 4.56 and 2 pinion, according to off-roads chart. So when doing the swap, can I go from 2 pinion to 4 (which seems to be more common for the V6) or does it not matter.
I run 32's with the V6, manual tranny and stock 4.56 gears. I can do 70 miles per hour @3000rpm.
I want 4.88 gears to increase power and probably to accomodate 33's in a while. Would doing this swap dramatically change rpm's at speed? Or would it be best to wait for the 33's to swap gears?
