Jesters, I urge not to purchase a CB AM/FM radio antenna.

CB frequencies are around 28 mhz, AM radios are around 600 to 1 mhz, and FM radios are from 88.6 mhz to 179 mhz. All this means is that CB's use different length antenna's versus AM/FM. You will never be able to optimize your CB output power properly. It would be like sending 1/2 of the CB power. It's not worth it. You could install a CB antenna where your AM/FM was. Then install a second antenna like a cellular am/fm type that would work ok. Just connect the cellular looking antenna to the back window via adhesive and run the cable back to the AM/FM radio. I have seen this done with success.
