Actually, unless I'm doing formal writing (specs or whatever) then I tend to write like I talk... Contractions and all..

That means you'll see me using "Aye", "Kickin'", "'k", "wanna", "whatcha'", etc. It's a way to express your personality in written word.

Personally, I think it takes more work to "write like you talk" than not; or for that matter, trying to read a written statement from someone who you know - and you _know_ they don't talk that way!

e.g., "I am coming over tonight" versus "I'm coming over tonight"... I dun't tink (more of "me") I know anyone that speaks without contractions.
