"I did this on my '89. On at least the '89 and later trucks, they are prewired for it. All you have to do is swap out wiper switches. Cheezie really, that Toyota wouldn't include this as a standard feature on all it's trucks since it's so simple. But anyway, the only difference between the non-intermittent '89 and later switch and the intermittent switch is that a special relay is included in the switch mechanism. The 4Runner switch is different, but it will fit in the trucks. You'll just have an extra switch position for the rear window that you don't need. The switch only comes with vehicles with tilt wheel, so when going to your local junk yard, ask for a wiper switch from a SR5 truck or 4Runner with tilt-wheel. Then just bolt it in. "
