I bought Downey HD rear coils from
Mike at
Xtreme Off-Road. Mike is a great guy to deal with and is also a member of this forum.
From what I've seen, Downey's prices are fairly close anywhere you go. You may even be able to order directly from Downey for cheaper than you can elsewhere. I forget exactly what I paid, but it was around $160 from Mike. He had them shipped directly from Downey.
I have been very impressed with them so far. I got about 2" of lift out of them. I went camping this weekend and loaded up with enough gear to totally fill the back of my 4Runner. I'm guessing 2-300 pounds. I didn't notice any sag. Before the coils, I would have been resting on the bump stops.
The Downey kit includes the coils, a stainless steel braided brake line extension, a brake line bracket, a brake proportioning valve bracket, and fairly good instructions.
I also installed an OME steering stabilizer that I bought from
4x4 Connection for $58, and a set of Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks from
Central 4WD that cost $69 a piece.
I have been very happy with this setup.
